Perfect Birthday (maybe not twisted enough?)

Cover was a bit tricky to pin down. The original sketch was a couple picture (selfie) with the man scratched out, similar to what my mom did in the family album. Well, she stabbed my dad out, but close enough. Unfortunately, as drawing this looked terrible, so I had to discard it. It came to me that something that represented the exact same thing would be a broken frame, but because we wanted to be clear it was horror, I added the kitchen knife. Couple in the picture is older than the ones in the story because I can't draw young women for whatever reason.

The sparkle of the project was "twisted love" + cannibalism, so obviously, my mind went to obsessive love. It took an unexpected turn towards the end as the cannibalism is more a means than an end, but I was overall satisfied.

I have my doubts regarding whether it makes sense that Steve dates our protagonist and even subjects himself to all sorts of humiliating stuff, but since Stevo is a lazy bastard who plays video games all day, I figure it kinda makes sense.
